Mobile App Development

React Native and native mobile app development

We design, build, test and release mobile apps for Android and iOS. Most new apps start in React Native with Expo, so one TypeScript codebase serves both platforms. When an app needs deep device work, such as sensors, alarms or heavy offline use, we write it natively in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose or Swift and SwiftUI. Five apps we built are live on Google Play today under our own developer account.

Technology we have used

  • React Native
  • Expo
  • TypeScript
  • Kotlin
  • Jetpack Compose
  • Swift
  • SwiftUI
  • SQLite
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging
  • Stripe
  • GitHub Actions

Is this right for you?

Problems this service solves

Mobile App Development usually suits teams in one of these situations.

  • Founders who need a first version on both stores without paying for two separate apps
  • Businesses adding a customer or staff app to an existing system
  • Products that must work offline, in several languages or with right-to-left layouts

When we are not the right fit

If your app is mostly a 3D game or needs heavy custom graphics, a game engine is a better fit than React Native. We will say so at the start.

How we test it

Game rules, calculators and data layers get unit tests (Jest for React Native, JUnit and MockK for Kotlin), and Android apps can add Espresso instrumented tests. The tests run in CI before a release build is made.

What you get

Deliverables

What a typical engagement includes. We agree the exact scope with you before work starts.

  • App design and flows

Screens, navigation and states for loading, empty and error cases, agreed before build.

  • Cross-platform or native build

React Native and Expo for shared code, or Kotlin and Swift where native APIs matter.

  • Backend and admin connection

Secure APIs, login with OTP or JWT, push notifications and an admin panel when the app needs one.

  • Payments and integrations

Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, mobile wallets, maps, chat and other third-party services.

  • Store release

Signed builds, store listings, screenshots, privacy policy pages and data-safety forms.

  • Release pipeline

GitHub Actions workflows that test the app and produce a signed Android App Bundle on every release.

Our approach

How the work runs

The same five steps on every project, with working software to review every week.

  1. Step 1: Share your idea

Tell us what you want to build, who it is for and what has to be true for it to succeed.

You get: A short written summary of the problem and a suggested first release.

  2. Step 2: Plan and design

We agree the scope, the screens and the technical approach before writing production code.

You get: An agreed scope, designs for the key flows and a milestone plan.

  3. Step 3: Build and demo weekly

We build in small steps and give you a working version to try every week.

You get: A tested, working product that grows each week.

  4. Step 4: Launch

We prepare the release, from store listings and privacy pages to hosting and monitoring.

You get: Your product, live for real users.

  5. Step 5: Grow

After launch we fix, improve and extend the product based on what users actually do.

You get: A product that keeps improving, or a smooth handover.

FAQs

Mobile App Development: common questions

Should my app use React Native or native code?

React Native suits most business and consumer apps, because one codebase covers Android and iOS. We choose native Kotlin or Swift when the app depends on device features React Native handles poorly, or when it only targets one platform. We explain the trade-off for your app before any code is written.

Do you publish the app to the stores for us?

Yes. We prepare signed builds, store listings, screenshots, privacy policy pages and the data-safety answers, and we can submit under your developer account. You keep ownership of the account and the listing.

Can the app work offline?

Yes. Several of our own apps run fully offline and store data on the device with SQLite or DataStore. For connected apps we decide together which actions must work without a signal and how changes sync later.

Who owns the source code?

You do. On client projects the code, design files and store accounts belong to you, and we hand over the repository, build instructions and access when the project ends.
