API & Payment Integration

Payment gateway and third-party API integration

Most products depend on services they do not own: a payment gateway, a flight supplier, a vehicle database, an SMS provider. We connect them properly, with webhooks, retries, status tracking and clear failure handling. We have integrated three payment gateways (Stripe, Global Payments with 3D Secure 2, and JazzCash) and more than fifteen other APIs across our projects.

Problems this service solves

API & Payment Integration usually suits teams in one of these situations.

  • Products that take card or wallet payments, refunds or deposits
  • Booking and marketplace platforms that rely on supplier APIs
  • Teams whose current integration fails silently or needs manual fixes

When we are not the right fit

We integrate certified gateways and never store raw card data ourselves. If a project requires handling card numbers directly, it needs a PCI-certified provider in the middle.

How we test it

We build and check integrations in the provider's sandbox before switching to live keys. For money-related flows, such as refunds and payment retries, we plan dedicated tests and an audit trail.

What you get

Deliverables

What a typical engagement includes. We agree the exact scope with you before work starts.

  • Payments

Card payments with 3D Secure, Apple Pay and Google Pay, mobile wallets, refunds and payment status checks.

  • Webhooks and reconciliation

Signed webhook handling, scheduled status checks and records that match the provider.

  • Supplier and data APIs

Flight content (Duffel, Amadeus), UK DVLA and MOT history, market data feeds.

  • Messaging

Email (Amazon SES), SMS and WhatsApp (Twilio), push notifications (FCM), in-app chat (Sendbird) and Telegram bots.

  • Resilience

Timeouts, retries, rate limits and circuit breakers so one slow provider does not take the product down.

Our approach

How the work runs

The same five steps on every project, with working software to review every week.

  1. Step 1: Share your idea

Tell us what you want to build, who it is for and what has to be true for it to succeed.

You get: A short written summary of the problem and a suggested first release.

  2. Step 2: Plan and design

We agree the scope, the screens and the technical approach before writing production code.

You get: An agreed scope, designs for the key flows and a milestone plan.

  3. Step 3: Build and demo weekly

We build in small steps and give you a working version to try every week.

You get: A tested, working product that grows each week.

  4. Step 4: Launch

We prepare the release, from store listings and privacy pages to hosting and monitoring.

You get: Your product, live for real users.

  5. Step 5: Grow

After launch we fix, improve and extend the product based on what users actually do.

You get: A product that keeps improving, or a smooth handover.

FAQs

API & Payment Integration: common questions

Which payment gateways have you worked with?

Stripe (cards, 3D Secure, Apple Pay, Google Pay and refunds), Global Payments GP API with hosted fields and 3D Secure 2, and the JazzCash mobile wallet with server-side payment notifications. We can work with other gateways that offer a documented API.

Do you store card details?

No. Card details go straight to the gateway through its hosted fields or SDK. Our systems store only references and payment status.

What happens when a provider is down?

We design for it. Calls have timeouts and retries, failures are logged and visible to staff, and scheduled jobs re-check payments or orders that were left in an unclear state.
