The problem
Escape games are often hard to play on a flight or a commute because they need a connection, push ads or end in guesswork. We wanted fair, clue-based puzzles that work anywhere.
What we built
We kept the game engine separate from the screens and the story content, so each chapter is data. Players inspect rooms, collect and combine items, and solve puzzles, with three levels of hints on every puzzle.
Key features
- Five hand-drawn chapters, each a room with its own story
- Inspect, collect, use and combine items
- Keypad, cipher, symbol-sequence, gear, star-pattern and clock puzzles
- Several endings shaped by choices and optional secrets
- Three-level hints on every puzzle
- Daily mystery puzzles with streaks and an optional local reminder
- Detective journal that records clues automatically
- Reduced motion, text scaling, high-contrast hotspots, sound and haptics settings

Challenges and how we handled them
Content separate from code
Chapters, puzzles and endings are data files read by a pure game engine, which makes new rooms easier to add and test.
Store art from the real game
A script renders the store screenshots from real game art and engine states, so the listing shows what players will actually see.
