AI-Built App Rescue

Take your Lovable, Bolt or Replit app from prototype to production

AI tools make it fast to get a working prototype, often called a vibe-coded app. The hard part comes next: logins that break, data anyone can read, payments that fail quietly, and every new prompt undoing the last fix. We take over the code your tool exported, review it, keep what works and rebuild only what has to change. Then we add what a real launch needs: secure accounts, proper payments, tests, deployment you own and, when you need one, a mobile app for the stores.

Problems this service solves

AI-Built App Rescue usually suits teams in one of these situations.

  • Founders who built a working prototype with AI tools and now need real users, payments or a store listing
  • Anyone with a vibe-coded app that needs rescuing before launch, without throwing away what works
  • Apps where every new prompt breaks something else, or that struggle once more than a few people use them
  • Teams that want to keep what already works instead of paying for a full rebuild

When we are not the right fit

If the prototype is mostly screens with little working logic behind them, a fresh first release is usually faster and cheaper. We will tell you that after the review rather than patch something that should be rebuilt.

How we test it

Before changing anything, we add tests around the flows that already work, so fixes do not break them. Login, payments and data access get dedicated tests, and we set up a CI pipeline so every later change, by us or by your AI tool, is checked before release.

What you get

Deliverables

What a typical engagement includes. We agree the exact scope with you before work starts.

  • Code and security review

A written report on structure, exposed keys, login, data access rules and dependencies, with what to keep, fix or rebuild.

  • Accounts and data access

Login, roles and server-side checks so each user sees only their own data.

  • Payments done properly

Checkout, webhooks, refunds and payment status handled on the server, not just in the browser.

  • Tests around what matters

Automated tests for the flows that touch money and user data, run in CI before each release.

  • Deployment you own

Hosting, environment settings, backups and error alerts set up in your own accounts.

  • Store-ready mobile app

When the product needs to be on the App Store or Google Play, a React Native and Expo app that reuses the logic you have.

Our approach

How the work runs

The same five steps on every project, with working software to review every week.

  1. Step 1: Share your idea

Tell us what you want to build, who it is for and what has to be true for it to succeed.

You get: A short written summary of the problem and a suggested first release.

  2. Step 2: Plan and design

We agree the scope, the screens and the technical approach before writing production code.

You get: An agreed scope, designs for the key flows and a milestone plan.

  3. Step 3: Build and demo weekly

We build in small steps and give you a working version to try every week.

You get: A tested, working product that grows each week.

  4. Step 4: Launch

We prepare the release, from store listings and privacy pages to hosting and monitoring.

You get: Your product, live for real users.

  5. Step 5: Grow

After launch we fix, improve and extend the product based on what users actually do.

You get: A product that keeps improving, or a smooth handover.

FAQs

AI-Built App Rescue: common questions

Do you have to rebuild my app from scratch?

Usually not. The review shows which parts are sound and which are risky. We keep working screens and logic, and rebuild only the pieces that would fail under real users, most often login, data access and payments.

Which AI tools can you work with?

Any tool that lets you export the code, such as Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0 or Cursor. If the project can be pushed to a GitHub repository or downloaded as a folder, we can work on it. You can keep using your AI tool afterwards, and our tests will catch changes that break things.

When should I hire a developer for my Lovable app?

When the app is about to meet real users or real money. Signs it is time: you are adding payments or user accounts, every new prompt breaks something that used to work, or you need the app on the App Store or Google Play. A review at that point is cheaper than fixing a launch that went wrong.

How much does it cost to fix an AI-built app?

It depends on what the review finds. A prototype with sound structure may need a few focused fixes, while one with login, data access and payments all handled in the browser needs more work. The first look is free, and fixes start from US$500. After the review we give you a fixed quote for the fixes before any further work begins.

Can you rescue a vibe-coded app?

Yes. A vibe-coded app is one built mostly by prompting an AI tool, and it usually works well until real users arrive. Rescuing it means the same steps as any takeover: a review first, then fixing login, data access and payments on the server, adding tests around what already works, and setting up deployment you own.

Have you done this before?

Taking over existing code always starts with a review, and we apply the same checks here. We have not yet published a case study of a rescued AI-built app. What we bring is the production work behind our client platforms: secure logins, three payment gateways, admin panels, CI pipelines and five apps released on Google Play.

Can you get my app onto the App Store and Google Play?

Yes. If your prototype is a web app, we build a React Native and Expo app that reuses its logic and API, then prepare signed builds, store listings, privacy pages and data-safety answers. You keep ownership of the developer accounts.

Who owns the code?

You do. We work in your repository and hosting accounts, and everything we write belongs to you.
